Electrolytic capacitor kit for the Turner +3 / 3B /CS-1, Drake 7075, Lafayette Range Boost, Midland International Desk, Pace, others?
This kit is for the classic Turner microphone (and noted variants) that started production in the early seventies. The board number used by these microphones is EIA-151-1. All of the axial capacitors in this kit meet or exceed those specified by the manufacturer. A higher rated component means that it will last longer in your unit. The components in this kit are made by tier 1 manufacturers (Rubycon, Nichicon, Panasonic, Multi-Comp Pro, etc.) with no counterfeits. A link to a down-loadable installation/parts PDF will be provided. This kit includes 5 components in total. BTW; axial components are more expensive than their radial counterparts. The capacitors will be packed in a thick walled plastic envelope that is nicely labelled. The plastic envelope has a hang hole so that it can be placed on your workbench peg board. This envelope will then be placed in a cardboard re-enforced bubble mailer to make sure it arrives safely at your location. I will also include a label that can be placed inside the radio identifying that new electrolytics have been installed. Restore your radio back to its original glory with the proper kit!
