This cap kit was spot-on. Those caps that needed a larger voltage rating were kitted and those that could be improved with a higher capacitance were also supplied. All name brand caps and nothing left over. I have bought kits from Klondike Mike many times and have always been satisfied!

Purchased a few kits for a different radios including this one for a customer's Lafayette HB640. Brand name caps is what's important for my cb repair business. Sometimes it's tough keeping all the caps in stock so these kits work great. Can't beat Nichicon, Kemet and Chemicon caps. Great price as well.

Outstanding!
Easy to solder in. Over the past 36 years I have been using Heil HC4 and HC5. This old PlusThree gets outstanding audio reports. Presently using it on an Elecraft K3 transceiver. Can hardly believe this old crystal mic element works so well.
Permanent mic on the radio desk now. Heil has been retired.
Pleased with the quality. Shipping time was better than expected from Canada. One could always source out and make up your own kit and save a few dollars, but this saved me a lot of time and energy, and that is worth money in my opinion.
